We are overwhelmed by the demand for these after Adrian’s video. We have stock starting to flow into our inventory and are making more as parts come in. Hopefully we are able to handle any demand going forward and have stock for various shows we will be going to.

Click here for all the info on the display, and a link to our Etsy store to purchase if in stock.

If we are ever out of stock on anything, you can email us at sales@techdungeon.xyz if you want to be notified when stock is added back to the store.

Thanks for your support, and thanks to Adrian for showing our display on his channel!

  1. Hey!,

i received my unit about a week ago, and I love it.

I know this will sound odd, but is there a way to decrease the overall brightness? i tend to keep my workspace relatively dark and it is really bright.

Ordinarily, this would not be an issue. It would actually be a perk, and I am sure for most people the brightness is great.

  2. Hi David,

Ultimately the goal with the Wi-Fi addition I hope to release in an update late this year, early next year, it will have brightness adjustability and more.

But this has come up with someone else, so I made a couple versions of the current v3 with different brightness values.

    It is here. https://techdungeon.xyz/files/led16x16/led_v3_brightness.zip

The numbers at the end of the filename are the brightness. The lower the number the dimmer the display.

You can download an unzip the files and try them. I would use the 64 one first and see how it goes and then work down to the lower ones if you still need dimmer.

You can find firmware update info here in this post. https://techdungeon.xyz/index.php/2023/04/25/our-16×16-led-display-firmware/

If you don’t like the custom brightness builds, you can go back to the standard v3 listed on the firmware update page. If the 64 version is too dark, I can look at adding some other in between values.

The eventual Wi-Fi update should make this a moot point down the road.
